Sweeper of the Year:
Debbie Jacketta

National Pavement Expo was a great opportunity to get recognition for our group, individual partners, connect with Vendor Partners in our Buying Group and introduce ourselves to new, potential Affiliates of the 1-800-SWEEPER group.

Debbie Jacketta, a founding and former Board of Directors member of 1-800-SWEEPER and NAPSA was presented with the Sweeper of the Year Award by Pavement Maintenance & Reconstruction Magazine.

Debbie is the first woman to win the award. In an interview published in the February 2018 issue of PAVEMENT, Debbie offers some of the keys to the success and longevity of the business which was started by her parents, Neil and Bonnie Jacketta in 1968.

Sweepers’ Night Out Sponsorship and Check Award

During the NPE Sweepers Night Out on February 7, 2018, our charitable organization – the 1-800-SWEEPER Foundation – was honored to give back to the community presenting a $5,000 donation to the American Red Cross in Cleveland, OH.

This was the first monetary award from a collection started to aid victims of multiple powerful hurricanes that ravaged parts of the United States during 2017. The relief money is being collected as part of a raffle in conjunction with Schwarze Industries, to win a brand new Schwarze Supervac Updraft power sweeper as a top prize.
