Meet 1-800-SWEEPER at NPE Booth #1529

Category:

Join 1-800-SWEEPER at NPE in Nashville February 1- 3, 2017 as we demonstrate one of our newest benefits for Partner companies, a sweeper operator training simulator. The SweeperSim is the first-in-our-industry simulated driver training tool developed to give real-world experience and best practice training to new and current sweeper truck operators.

During the upcoming National Pavement Expo, we’re inviting NPE attendees test their parking lot sweeping skills by participating in our “Sweeper Rodeo”, co-sponsored by Schwarze Industries and Nitehawk Sweepers. SweeperSim was introduced to nearly 50 Partner companies during the annual Sweeper Summit in November 2016. If the enthusiastic interest at the Sweeper Summit is any indication, NPE attendees are sure to be in for fun and enlightening experience with this new technology.

NPE 2017 Marks First Public Viewing of Sweeper Simulator Tool

Category:

1-800-Sweeper has developed the industry’s first sweeper operator training simulator to help screen and train operators, before receiving on-the-job training in an actual sweeper. Our organization will publicly showcase the technology – dubbed the SweeperSim – at the National Pavement Expo 2017 in Nashville, Feb. 1-3, 2017.

“Virtual Sweeping” was created to help address one of the highest priority problems in the commercial power sweeping industry – recruiting, training and retaining drivers. 1-800-SWEEPER along with Vendor partners Schwarze Industries and Nitehawk Sweepers will unveil the simulator to the industry and give NPE attendees an opportunity to experience the technology first-hand in the form of a “virtual sweeper rodeo” Feb. 2nd and 3rd in Nashville.

NPE 2015: 1-800-SWEEPER Aims High

Category:

Most of us equate marketing our sweeping service businesses with traditional tactics—websites, magazine ads, yellow pages listings, business cards, truck decals, and direct mail.  Some or all of these techniques may occupy a spot in your marketing mix, but it is also important to think outside the box when you are prospecting for new customers.

At 1-800-SWEEPER, we are never afraid to try new techniques to attract new partners.  If you have been with us since our humble origins, you may recall the NPE trailer conference room, the Florida sunset yacht cruise, or our mobile billboard in Vegas.  Some of these guerrilla marketing campaigns worked better than others, but we have never lost sight of our vision—growing the only nationwide alliance of sweeping service companies.

NPE 2014: The Lowdown on Ft. Lauderdale

Category:

Many of our partners left cold and snowy conditions earlier this month to attend the 2014 National Pavement Expo in sunny Ft. Lauderdale.  Those making the trip had ample time for networking, fellowship, and learning from some of the best in the business.  Ask some of your fellow partners for the most memorable moments and you’re bound to get a variety of answers.  For some, attending the round-tables meant picking up that one new idea that virtually paid for the trip.  Others found the Sweeper’s Night Out at The Ft. Lauderdale Antique Car Museum.  This event was special because we honored past NAPSA presidents and gave our thanks to some true giants of the industry…folks who helped to shape the future of the sweeping business.  Finally, there was the Friday night sunset cruise along the Intracoastal Waterway.
